This book is a fundamental description of the phenomenology and therapy of depression from the perspective of the Gestalt approach. The specifics of both melancholic and reactive depression, as well as manic states, are revealed, the features of depressive experience in various personal styles (narcissistic, borderline, hysterical, dependent, obsessive-compulsive), and numerous clinical illustrations are provided.
