The “Garden of My Soul” deck of metaphorical associative cards is designed for use in working with mental, sensory and emotional states. Can be used in psychological counseling, art therapy and as an additional tool in other psychological practices. The MAK deck “The Garden of My Soul” will be useful to: practicing psychologists, MAK specialists, art therapists, fairy tale therapists, life coaches, as well as anyone who is interested in the practice of metaphorical associative cards in psychology.
The MAK deck “The Garden of My Soul” consists of 80 images that reflect various emotional states of a person.
Working with a deck of cards, you can:
- reconstruct past events and form present ones;
- clarify experiences and see new possibilities;
- complete “unfinished” events in life that take away energy;
- work through psychological trauma from life events;
- activate internal resources;
- improve your state of mind;
- model a time line from the past to the future.

Exercise “Garden of my states”
In this exercise you Immerse yourself in your inner world of experiences, desires and sensory states. It will allow you to look at the situation through the eyes of an outside observer, perhaps after this you will rethink some moments of life.
From the proposed list of conditions, select what you would like to work with at the moment. There are two options for working:
First option:
- What do you see?
- What time of year is shown?
- What time of day (approximately)?
- What does the plot of the card say?
- What is shown on the card?
- What feelings and emotions do you experience?
- What situation do you remember from life events?
- What would you like to do at the moment?
Draw a card face down from any pile, negative or positive. Answer the following questions:
- What do you see?
- What does the plot of the card say?
- What is shown on the card?
- What feelings and emotions do you experience?
- What situation do you remember from life events?
- What did this situation teach you and what valuable lessons did you learn?
- What do the events from the first one look like? card in relation to the second?
- What would you like to do now in this garden?
li> Draw a facedown card from the positive pile. Answer the following questions:
- What do you see?
- What does the plot of the card say?
- What is shown on the card?
- What feelings and emotions do you experience?
- How would you like to continue the plot of this card (3-5 sentences)?
Second option:
Mix all the cards, the sequence of work is the same, but only you have one common deck of cards.
