“Leela” translates from Sanskrit as ‘Game‘. “Leela” teaches us to see life as a game – to embrace each moment with an open heart. It helps us plumb the depths of our wisdom to answer all sorts of questions.

The transformative game of life, “Leela”, is a working model of the Great Game developed in antiquity and brought to the Western world by Harish Johari, an Indian artist, sculptor, composer, musician, singer, teacher and philosopher, who in 1975 published the book ‘Leela. The Game of Self-Discovery.’

Leela’s philosophy is the quintessence of Vedic knowledge. The ancient yogis, having investigated the labyrinth of the human mind, identified 72 initial states of being and consciousness, and these states correspond to the 72 cells of the Leela game.

The most ancient game of self-discovery, Leela, is a gift for every person on the path. By using this game as a mirror of real life, you can save many years. Years that you would have spent searching for the path that brought you to this incarnation, through which you incarnated.

The Leela game is a tool of self-knowledge, which allows you to ‘check the path’ and, if necessary, to correct the direction of movement. Leela is one of the systems of self-knowledge, a way of cognition of life and laws of the Universe.

Game mechanics: the player rolls the dice, allowing the karmic forces to determine the next move on the board. He travels through the various planes of existence, ascending by arrows and descending by snakes to realise the intentions of his Higher Self wherever he finds himself.

The game ends only when the player has fully realised the essence of the karmic forces and has attained Cosmic Consciousness.
